Matthews Hall is one of the biggest local community spaces available and offer versatile accommodation for events from private celebrations, concerts, theatrical performances, meetings and everything in between. The Hall has step-free access. The building is licensed for the sale of alcohol and has a kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities, oven and fridge. Free Wifi is available throughout the building. Parking is available in the public car park next to Matthews Hall.
The Main Hall
The Main Hall has a capacity of 160. The stage is fully equipped with lighting, speakers and a drop-down cinema screen. A hearing loop is installed. The ceiling is high enough for badminton. There are 160 chairs, 17 x 6-foot rectangular tables and 25 x 5-foot rectangular tables.
The Studio
The Studio is on the first floor, with disabled access by stairlift. The room has a seating capacity of 60. There is a small kitchenette in the room with tea and coffee making facilities.
